DEM, EU and partners stand #TogetherInTheDistance

The EU Delegation in Strasbourg and its partners in the Council of Europe have recently launched a public campaign to celebrate the resilience of societies across Europe and beyond, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The project ‘Together in the Distance: Building New Solidarities in a Changing World’ aims at illustrating, through photos and testimonials, the stories of individuals who set an example of solidarity with their own kind in the face of the crisis.
We stand #TogetherInTheDistance with the European Union and its partners in Strasbourg and fully support this project in an aim to raise awareness of worthy acts of courage and commitment amongst citizens from Europe and the world.
The selected photos and stories will be featured in a virtual exhibition on the webpage of the EU Delegation in the autumn. This work will also be included in a dedicated photobook and a collection of postcards, to be disseminated extensively on the social media and web channels of the Delegation.
